Packing

Trained to an industry standard level, Go Forth can confidently take care of your possessions.

Our specialist packing teams are trained to protect your valuables using, where possible, ethically sourced materials.

Don’t let the packing be an afterthought, a properly packed property can make the move on the day far smoother.

REMOVAL TIP

Use proper removal boxes. They will better protect your items and it’ll make your move run quicker as they stack more efficiently in the van.

Unscrew lampshades and box them. Lampshades are fragile and not easy to pack in a van if still attached.

Ensure parking is available on the day of the removal. The further the removal van is away from your property, the longer the removal will take.

If you have small children or pets, please be aware that a removal involves heavy and frequent lifting. Suitable arrangements should be made to ensure the health and safety of your loved ones and the removal porters!

Storage

We will store your possessions in 20ft secure containers, which are ISO standard shipping and renowned for their strength and versatility and security. The containers have been treated with Grafotherm anti-condensation paint, making them the ideal solution to short- and long-term storage at a price you can afford.

You peace of mind is our priority, so rest easy in the knowledge that all containers are in a secure yard with CCTV.

Piano moves

Whether it be upright, baby or grand pianos, Go Forth staff are trained to BAR accreditation level. Pianos should always be moved by those with experience and expertise. We have the right equipment and the specialist knowledge to make a difficult task look easy.

Clearance

Moving home is always an ideal time for a clear out. Let us take care of your unwanted items, be it to charity or local recycling plant, safe in the knowledge that they are being disposed of responsibly and ethically.
